Game Day 6: 90 min.
Objectives:
Students will understand why it’s important to be wrong.
Bellwork: 10-15 min.
Watch the following movie or read the following article:

Pregame: 30-35 min.
Quickwrite: 15 min.
Group the students in groups of 4.
Hand each student a blank piece of paper with one of the following prompts. After 1 minute students pass the prompts to a classmate and have them complete the prompt.
1. This is what I look like when I realize I’m wrong.
2. Write one sentence about one time that you were wrong.
3. Explain in your own words why it’s good to be wrong.
4. How can you be okay with being wrong?
Discussion: 15-20 min.
Have the students read the best answers on the sheet that they receive at the end of 4 times passing the paper.
Ask them which solutions to problems have turned out differently than what they thought. Ask the students to brainstorm more solutions, and remind them that being wrong is part of life, and it’s how we get better.
Game Play: 30-45 mins.
Set game timer and click “End Day” on your website.
Let people start to negotiate.
Conclusion: (10 mins.)
Ask the students what the most important thing that they have learned so far in the game is.
