Bellwork: 10 min.
Students answer the question: How is the game going so far? What are your emotions? What have you learned about yourself? What have you learned about others?
Pregame: 20-30 min.

Have the students answer the questions:
1. What does “go to the balcony” mean in your own words?
2. How can you use the 3rd side in your negotiations?
Game Play: 30-45 mins.
Set game timer and click “End Day” on your website.
Let people start to negotiate.
Conclusion: (10 mins.)
Have students write about the following prompts.
Were you able to “go to the balcony” today during the game?
Were you able to understand people’s emotions and try to see thing from their point of view?
What is one example of something you said that was good and one thing that you said that could be better?
